The Marshfield Blue Jays currently play soccer in Class 2, District 5. The other eight teams in our district are: Aurora, Bolivar, Carl Junction, Cassville, Logan-Rogersville , Monett, Webb City, and West Plains. DIRECTIONS TO FIELDS (Directions have been obtained directly from schools, or their websites; accuracy is hoped for but not guaranteed).
MARSHFIELD -I-44 to exit 100 (Marshfield exit). Go toward Marshfield on Mo. 38 (if coming from Lebanon direction, this would be a Left, if coming from Springfield, this would be a Right). Follow Mo. 38 as it changes names to Jackson at the light in front of Kum & Go. Continue through town, keep going straight past the 4-way stop. At the next stop sign, you will see railroad tracks to your left. Keep going straight. After the next stop sign, you will two almost parallel roads. Take the first one (Cherry Blossom Way). You will be the back of Shook Elementary. Park to the side. The soccer field is up on a hill, before you get to the back parking lot of the high school.
AURORA – I-44 to Mt. Vernon. Take the AUrora exit (Hwy 39 South). After crossing the railroad tracks on the north edge of Aurora, highway 39 makes a sharp left turn, but instead of following the highway, go straight on Carnation Drive to the stop sign at business 60. Go straight on Carnation Drive approximately one mile. Look for Safe and Sound building and make a left on Prospect Road. The new high school will be approximately 1/2 mile on left. The field sits beside the school.
BOLIVAR – I-44 to Kansas Exp. At Kansas Exp. exit, turn right, keep going north on Hwy 13. Take the Business 13 exit (first Bolivar exit) and go Right on Hwy 32 ( the northeast corner of the square ). Go ½ mile to Hartford and make a Left. The field is up just North of the elementary school on the Right.
BRANSON – I-44 to 65 south to Bee Creek Rd. Turn left back across the highway and take the outer road (you will see the bus parking lot on the corner). Take the first left and go up the hill to the JH, we play on that stadium.
CARTHAGE – Take I-44 West and turn Right on Alt. 71. You’ll get off at Garrison and go about a mile to Fir St. and go Right. The field is on the Left just past the YMCA building.
CASSVILLE – Take I-44 West to US 65 south to US 60 to Monett. Take MO-37 South toward Cassville. Turn LEFT onto MO-37 Business (auto dealerships on opposite corners) into Cassville. At approximately 15th and Main, you will see school area signs. High school should be one block off of 37 Business, down Hwy “Y.” Soccer field is at the bottom level at the end of the student parking lot, which is just past the high school.
CATHOLIC – I-44 to Hwy 65. Go South on Hwy 65 to the Battlefield exit and go Left. At the stop sign turn Left on Blackman Rd. and continue until you see the school. Turn Left at the street on the North side of the school, the soccer field is just past the baseball field.
CENTRAL – (Cooper Field) I-44 to Hwy 65. Go South on Hwy 65 to the Chestnut exit and go Right. Turn Right on Cedarbrook then make a Left at the stop sign, the field is on the right.
KICKAPOO – 3710 S. Jefferson, Springifle, MO. 65807 – northeat corner of Jefferson and Primrose on the south side of Springfield. The soccer fields are just East of the school on Primrose with parking between the school and the fields.
LEBANON – I44 East toward Lebanon. Exit 130 North (away from Hospital), and in about a half mile, (just past JR’s Western Wear) Millcreek Rd veere off to the Right. Get on that road and the soccer field is about a quarter of a mile on your Right, just before Boswell Elementary.
LOGAN-ROGERSVILLE – Go toward Rogersville on Hwy 60. Take a right at the first stop light (hwy 125), you will see the HS on the Rt, pass it and take the first road to the right (FR 174) it’s between the MS and HS. The field is behind the softball field, behind the HS.
NIXA – I-44 to Hwy 65 to Hwy 60 (James River Freeway). Go South on Hwy 160 (Campbell) toward Nixa. Turn Left at Aldersgate (Nixa Wal*Mart). Take this road until it dead ends. Take a Right on Main St. At the 3-way stop, turn Left onto North St. Junior High will be on the corner. The soccer field is the old high school football field (Pyle Field).
An alternate route to Nixa=> I-44 to Hwy 65 toward Branson. Take the MO-14 exit toward Ozark/Nixa. Turn Right. Continue to follow MO-14 West toward Nixa. When in Nixa, watch for Main St. Turn Right as the Main St. stoplight. At the 3-way stop, turn Right on North St. toward the Junior High. The soccer field is the old high school football field (Pyle Field).
OZARK – Go East on Hwy 14 to the Ozark Junior High (the old high school) and go Left at the light. Go up the hill past the baseball field (on the right) and continue up to the parking lot at the FOOTBALL stadium.
PARKVIEW – W. Meadowmere – 1st street north of JFK. Meadowmere is less than 1 mile North of Sunshine off Grant. Take I-44 to Hwy 65 to Sunshine. Take a Left toward Springfield. Go past Campbell Past Bass Pro). Take a Right on Grant. Then a Left on Meadowmere, just past JKF Stadium. The fields will be on your Right, past the Springfield Skate Park (PHS Baseball field is on the Left).
WEST PLAINS – Go East on Hwy 60 to Hwy 63 South to W. Plains. Get off on first main exit at Porter Wagner, the road will go back under the hwy and go Right. Go Left on Broadway. You’ll go over a mile through a few stop signs and you’ll turn left towards the high school. The field is on the Right.
WILLARD – I-44 to West Bypass. Go North on West Bypass to the first Willard exit which goes Right. You will turn Right on the street that runs south of the old HS now the JH. You’ll make another Right at the stop sign and turn Right into the elementary school to park.
